The Country Homemaker Hop #55

Welcome back friends for another week of mouth watering recipes, gardening and farming adventures, and crafts all provided by YOU.  Thanks for showing up and for linking up to share.  (Sorry we are a day late this week, but we were hit by an unusually wet storm which left us without power for several hours and no internet for 24 hours.)  We are back up and running and ready to go.  Even Mother Nature is ready it seems for we awoke to sunny skies today.  Perfect weather to dig in.

Homemaker of the Week-
Each week we try to select at least one post that inspired us.  This week's Homemaker of the Week post is titled Early Planting and Gardening Ideas and was written and shared with us by awesome blogger Lisa of the blog The Way Grandmama Does It.

I have been following Lisa's blog for more than a year now, and if you are not following her yet. I encourage you to take the time to go do so now.  Lisa, a talented writer, shares her homemaking adventures each week and among here hobbies are gardening, preparedness, cooking and baking, beekeeping, and crafts.  Lisa is a dedicated homemaker, wife, mom and grandmother.  I know you'll love reading about her adventures as I have, and I always learn something useful from her posts.  Thanks Lisa!  This post is full of pictures that'll inspire you to get your seeds started (if you haven't yet) and included a wonderful idea to build a rock spiral herb garden.  Check it out!

(Because of the weather delay I will post The Country Garden Showcase this evening)

Let's get HOPPING!!!
